[Case Study] Assembly and Inspection Processes of Precision Equipment
The main mass-produced product is the base for electronic component assembly robots! Here we introduce a case study from a metal manufacturing company.
We would like to introduce a case where "adFactory" was implemented in the assembly and inspection processes of precision equipment at Tokai Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Instead of using work instruction manuals, assembly tasks were carried out on tablets, and in the inspection process, inspection tasks were conducted using tablets instead of filling out inspection reports. Additionally, our product is being used as teaching material, which helps reduce the burden on educators and improve the speed of skill acquisition. 【Implementation Effects】 ■ Paperless inspection reports: 40 sheets/unit → 2 sheets/unit (approximately 70,000 sheets/year reduction) ■ Management time for inspection results: 60 minutes/unit → 30 minutes/unit ■ 50% reduction in training time, improved skill acquisition speed ■ Clarification of work procedures leading to depersonalization ■ Elimination of skipped tasks, resulting in improved quality *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
